Geocache Description:

Esta cache está situada junto a uma formação geológica de características particulares na localidade de Aldeia do Bispo, distrito de Castelo Branco.
This cache is located near a geologic formation of unique characteristics in a small 17th century village called Vila do Bispo (Bishop’s Village, roughly translated), near Castelo Branco.

Como lá chegar:
O acesso à Aldeia do Bispo não deve constituír problema, sugere-se o acesso pela estrada vinda de Penamacor, o rápido percurso (aprox. 7Km) e o estacionamento junto à igreja. O posterior "passeio" pedestre pelas ruelas estreitas até ao spot da cache fica ao vosso cargo. Ou seja: não há coordenadas para ninguém, fica ao vosso critério o caminho a tomar (um bocado de orientação nunca fez mal...).
How to get there:
Fairly easy. Take the road from Penamacor to Aldeia do Bispo, drive for aprox. 7km and park you car by the church. Once there, it won’t be hard to figure your way to the cache site by yourself (it won’t hurt you, consider strolling by narrow streets part of the adventure).

O local:
A cache encontra-se junto a um pequena formação rochosa de forma e localização singular (e a que se dá o nome de "Barroco"). Subir ao cimo da mesma para ver as vistas e tirar umas fotografias à pequena aldeia com origens no século XVII não é necessário, mas é aconselhável. A dita subida pode requerer alguma paciência, cuidado e calçado adequado.
The place:
The cache is located near a rock structure locals call "Barroco". It is advisable, though not necessary, to climb up and take a look around, take some photographs and have a quick look at the 17th century village rooftops. Please bear in mind that the climb may require some time, patience and appropriate footwear.

A cache:
É um contentor plástico (30cm x 15cm x 8cm) embrulhado num saco preto. Lá dentro, irá encontrar um logbook com uma lapiseira, para além de algumas "lembranças". Quando estiver a colocá-la no lugar original, tenha especial cuidado de verificar se está tudo como encontrou. Dada a natureza húmida e fria do clima local, é essencial que a caixa fique bem fechada e selada. E lembre-se: "Cache in, Trash out"...
The cache:
It’s a Rubbermaid plastic container (30cm x 15cm x 8cm) wrapped up in a black bag. Inside, you’ll find the logbook with a mechanical pencil and some gifts for trade. As soon as you make the trade and sign the logbook, remember to hide the container where and exactly as you found it. Special care must be taken care to the box, double-check if it’s well closed and sealed, because of the local cold and wet climate. And remember: "Cache in, Trash out"...
