Geocache Description:

Pushchair friendly apart from a couple of styles.

An easy cache in the area of the Titchfield Canal. I won’t bore you with the history, as those who are interested can find out all about this on the internet. Suffice to say I have lived within about 5 miles of this area all my life and only recently found out that we have a canal here. The area is fairly well overgrown now, so don’t go building your hopes up, but an interesting area none the less. Once you have completed the cache, the more energetic might like to walk on to the village of Titchfield, which is about another 1 ½ miles further on. The paths can get very muddy in the winter so suitable footwear is to be recommended. The cache was called Peters Cache because on the way to placing it my four year old peter insisted that this was his cache and who am I to argue.
