This search will take you to the Mount Washington Hotel, one of the grandest hotels in America.
This National Historic Landmark opened in 1902 and became a favorite haunt of poets, presidents and princes. Many significant events have happened here. The coordinates will take you to the front door. Enter the magnificent lobby and wander around to your heart's content. Especially check out the views of Mt. Washington from the back rooms or porch. Find the Gold Room and read the plaque on the door. Solve the equation below for the coordinates of the cache located behind another plaque, not at the hotel, dedicated to the men who built the railroad through the notch.
