BRAD AND LAURA (AND CREW)]

The event will officially start at 6:30 PM, but the hayride will not leave until 7:00 PM. This is no ordinary hayride, it will be a haunted geocaching adventure with stops along the way to hunt the stages of a big, scary multi-cache. So come prepared with flashlights and courage.

After the big hunt we will have a weenie roast at the bonfire with s'mores for dessert. We will provide the hot dogs, buns, condiments and stuff for making s'mores, but you are welcome to bring anything else that sounds good to you. We will provide hot spiced tea and cocoa, but we ask you to bring anything else you may want to drink. We will be hiding several things around the farm and there will be door prizes for the folks that find them.

Costumes are strongly recommended, I will not require them, but expect Monkeybrad to ridicule you if you show up out of costume, and don't forget that there will be prizes for the best costume with both a children's and an adult's division.

In keeping with the "spirit" of the season we will have all of your old favorites, from bobbing for microcaches to horror movie trivia to old fashioned ghost story-telling. Of course, we will also have our usual story-telling all about geocaching and everyone is expected to participate in that.

We do have one request. Due to the presence of our own furry family members,(besides Monkeybrad) we ask that pets be left at home so as not to cause any conflict. Thank you in advance for your consideration.

I am telling you if you can't have fun at this event, you just can't have fun anywhere.

The club will be having their October meeting just 8 miles away at Henry Horton State Park in Shelter #1 at 1:00 PM on the same day, so all the more reason to make the long drive .
