Take Exit 242 off of Interstate 25 north of Albuq.Go East on Rt. 165 3.1 miles. Turn right on Dirt FR 445 [Not Marked].Drive 1 mile Park at N35 17.351 W106 28.620. Take this trail Northeast. About 1 mile to the Cache.
No Motorized Vehicles Allowed. BIKES ARE ALLOWED, except in wilderness area.
Stay right @ N35 17.304 W106 28.144 continue on, stay right @ N35 17.408 W106 27.904.This Trail will go in and out of the Arroyo as you near the Cache.
The Cache is about 50 feet off the trail.Located under a juniper tree within 20 ft of the Cache coordinates.
CONTENTS: Log Book & Pen,GeoCaching NM. Pin, Flashlite, window marker, patches & pins a clip,deck of cards, a diamond, thumb tacks, key chain, and a camera.
You have a Great View of Cabezon Peak from the cache.
You may take the alternate trail back to the parking area, follow the arroyo WEST to a 4 way TRAIL Intersection @ N35 17.634 W106 28.452 Take the left or SOUTH trail 0.36 miles to the parking area.
This cache is great for Young Kids, Bikers and anyone looking for a nice LEISURE Hike.
I had my 6 year old Granddaughter on this hike in March.
