Night cache for those that like to run around in the dark. First location now has a metal plate with coordinates to the next waypoint location as the trees have grown and obscured the direct view. It also has an arrow pointing the general direction you will need to first travel. We have also updated markers. Enjoy the night walk.
YOU WILL NEED A TORCH. The brighter the better. This is the first True night cache in Perth but having said that we believe if you wanted to try to do it during the day then it would be possible. If you try to find it during the day you would need to have binoculars a keen eye and a bit of logical thinking to work it out but it is findable. You will need to park in the most obvious place but don’t park counter to traffic direction.
Walk to the coordinates straight from the car parking area. There is a car width maintenance track. Find that and its a lot easier. It is located approximately inline with the lowest part of the parking area.
One thing to be aware of is your car security. We never have had a problem and it’s only a slight risk factor but being late at night on a hill in Gosnells and a car apparently abandoned…well you can see the possibilities so be careful.
The views are superb and if your camera is able to do a night photo we would love to see them. So far we have seen Kangaroos, Emus and Rabbits and picked a few lemons off the tree near the steam while here…..be prepared for the sounds of the night.
UPDATE: We have been back to make some interesting alterations to the cache. We have made sure that we wont take you too far from your car. Follow the Reflections until you find grey reflectors on a tree. Look at the base of that location for your next clue.

when returning to your car take the shortest route to the original cache waypoint so you can re-cross the stream at the best location.
