This cache can be reached by foot, bike or car
(but don't blame us when your car gets damaged ok ).
The intention of this cache is to let you discover the nice little
town of Clans and the Clans woods. We've also another cache here,
simply called Clans. It's interesting to combine these two but then
we would suggest to start with Clans
We think it's best to park your car in the
village and continue by foot or bike.
We've been here on holliday and really liked the
area, quiet, not real touristic but certainly with nice views and
walks or MTB trails.
We do hope you visit the old town before or after your hunt.
In the town hall you can get some information about the area and
also a leaflet with walking routes trough the forrest.
We placed the cache on a spot with a nice
panoramic view, a spot you pass when you follow almost all those
routes mentioned above.
We did this on purpose so you can combine the hunt with one of
those nice walks trought the woods.
Cette cache est accessible à pied, à vélo, ou en voiture (mais à
vos risques et perils, cette dernière option est déconseillée
(risques d'éboulements)). L’objectif de cette cache est de
vous faire découvrir le joli petit village de Clans, et sa forêt.
Une autre cache simplement appelée « Clans » est aussi à proximité.
Il est intéressant de combiner ces deux caches, mais alors, nous
vous suggèrons de démarrer par « Clans » Mieux vaut se garer dans
le village, et continuer à pied ou à vélo. Nous sommes venus ici en
vacances et avons beaucoup aimé l’endroit, paisible, pas
vraiment touristique, mais avec de beaux points de vue et des
chemins pour Mountainbike. Prenez le temps aussi de visiter la
vieille ville. Vous pourrez y trouver des informations sur la
région, mais aussi un plan des sentiers forestiers. Nous avons
placé la cache dans un lieu avec une jolie vue panoramique, auquel
vous accédez en empruntant un de ces sentiers, ce qui vous permet
de combiner la recherche de la cache, avec une agréable balade en
forêt.
Small note on cache maintenance: We don't live in
the area but have agreed with a local friend who's gonna look after
the cache if there's a problem.
