Hartshill Hoard Traditional Geocache

I would like to thank Warwickshire County Council for giving their permission to place this cache. It was the first to be placed in one of their parks and I am pleased that further caches have been placed in their parks by other geocachers.

The cache is located in one of Warwickshire County Council's country parks. Admission to the park is free; currently there is a £1.50 car park charge, for all day. It is possible to park on an adjacent road. I have rated the difficulty as a 2. The cache is adjacent to one of the park's footpaths, however it is well concealed. Terrain is a 1.5 as there is an incline to the path, which can be muddy.
The cache is a half litre ice cream pot. It currently contains the usual log book, pencil and pencil sharpener. The pencil and sharpener are not trades, please leave them in the cache.
This was the first cache to be located in a Warwickshire County Council park, I would like to place more caches in some of their other parks so please be respectful of the local flora and fauna.
If you continue your walk through the park some good views are to be had overlooking the countryside towards Leicestershire. There is a small playground next to the car park together with some picnic benches, so an enjoyable hour or two can be easily spent here.
