This cache was placed on Marble Mountain in hopes that everyone enjoys the mountain as much as I do.
Years ago, when I first moved to this neck of the woods, I was told about a mountain top that was pure marble. "Aww, It's real easy to get to. Ya just blah blah blah." So off I go without a clue. As you can guess, I didn't find it. Later on, another fellow took me hunting just below the mountain. Now that I had seen it I had to be on it. At the time I didn't own a GPS. Just a map and a truck. The truck turned out to be very useful but the map was another story. After repeated tries I finally began to think that I truly had "Lost my Marbles." Everybody I talked to had been to Marble Mountain except me. Still even later, I purchased an ATV. Now the hunt was on! Great gas mileage and pure stubborness paid off in the end! Now I try to go there at least once a summer. So why not place a cache, give them some grids, and turn loose the masses to see if they to can lose there Marbles! Hope you have as much fun finding as I had hiding. P.S. This is not a ATV only cache. Any vehicle with good ground clearance should do the trick. Good pair of walking shoes and a picnic lunch might come in handy too!
