This cach is located at about 10,600 feet above sea level in the Sandia Mountains, A bit off the crest trail.I placed this Cache for visitors or cachers new to the area. However everyone is welcome. Room for small trade items
You can get their VIA the TRAM and a short hike 1.2 miles north on a well traveled trail to the cache.
Or drive to the Crest House/Gift Shop/Lookout and Park at about N 35 12.591 W 106 26.911.
To drive take exit #175 from Interstate 40.
Take rt 14 north to the Crest Road #536 This will take you to the Parking area @ The Crest House/gift shop/ snack bar.
Follow the crest trail south and another trail west to the Cache about 0.8 miles.
The cache is located to the right of a "door way" at ground level in a small crevice with stones hideing it. It is NOT close to the cliffs. The CACHE is about 5" long and 2" in diameter.

You may also hike up the La Luz Trail "8 miles one way".This would make the terrain rating about a 4-1/2
The way I get their is take rt 165 off of Interstate 25 exit 242.
165 turns into a dirt road.Continue on this road about 8 miles and it will junction with 536, turn right and go to the TOP.
