Park at the start of the Torrish Forest Walk. Look up the hill opposite. That is where you are going.
Please take a map and compass with you as the weather can close in very fast and if your GPS fails you could be in trouble. If you don't believe me, check out the photographs. It was a lovely day when we started our walk!
There is no path, you will cross deer paths. They all go around the hill and not up it! Is there a hidden message here? Are we just mad going up hills the hard way?
You will end up at about 2000 feet and I belive that the hill is well worth it! The first time that we used this road we were on our motorbikes and it was great fun! The road is a very narrow single track which can be quite rough and is lacking in passing places.
