This Cache is located at a secluded area in the Koonyum Range
above Mullumbimby. The road is largely dirt and in good condition
although it probably shouldn't be attempted in wet weather.
If you have a 4WD or good clearance you might drive to within
10m of the cache, otherwise it's an easy 1.6km return walk through
some shaded bush from the main road. S28° 32.206, E153° 24.979 is
where I left my car.
There is an unfenced and very high cliff and Hang-Glider
launch site at the cache location with great views out to Cape
Byron. No need to go near the edge while searching for the cache
and keep the kids close by.
This cache is located in the Mount Jerusalem National Park which
was formed in 1995. Previously the Nullum State Forest, areas were
subject to various land uses including logging and quarrying.
