Geocache Description:

While caching in downtown Asheville, pause for a few minutes to view and photograph a monumental sculpture adjacent to the Federal Building.

Albert Paley's 1995 steel sculpture Passion soars thirty seven feet above the plaza. Paley has been an active artist for more than thirty years, and his site-specific projects are found in the collections of major museums and in public spaces across the country. He also is a distinguished professor in contemporary crafts at the Rochester Institute of Technology, New York.

To claim credit for this cache
1) Locate the sculpture.
2) Have your photograph taken in the plaza with your GPSr, so that a recognizable portion of the sculpture is visible (or the entire sculpture, as shown in the sample photograph). For solo cachers, a photo of your hand holding your GPSr in front of a recognizable portion of the sculpture is certainly fine.
3) Upload your photograph when you log your find. Logs without photographs will be deleted ~ hence the (albeit modest) difficulty rating.

Please, no recycled vacation photographs (unless you happened to be holding your GPSr!) or photographs of the sculpture downloaded from the Internet.

While in the area, enjoy the beauty of downtown Asheville. The Asheville Urban Trail is particularly recommended.
