Skinnskattberget is 550 meters above sea level. The peak is the point where the borderlines of three counties; Oslo, Akershus, Oppland, intersect. At the peak, where the cache is hidden, the trees have been allowed to grow tall, so there is not a really good view from here. But if you go further south, the view is very fine towards Sandungen.
