Midnight Sun at the Polar Circle, Rovaniemi
Actually at July the 3rd the sun goes already down for 16 minutes**, but the event ends before that anyway. The event will be held at Vikaköngäs 30 km northeast from Rovaniemi at 17.00 and forwards. All geocachers, old and new, are welcome!
Vikaköngäs is easily reachable from Rovaniemi with a bus. Taking the train to Rovaniemi from those distant southern parts of Finland is probably the most logical choice (cf. the info page about the railroad Holiday pass).
Enrolments to this page as a note. Take good shoes, food for the bring-a-dish party and something to be left in the memorial cache. We'll also be listening to the european PMR446 channel eight (446.09375 MHz, no tone squelch) at the event cache grounds. Mobile phone 050-4746749 should you get lost.
