The cache was placed near Murau- a well known ski center. In the
summer it is a paradise for people who like trekking. To find this
cache, you have to go 1600 meter high, in direction Rudolf
Schoberhütte.(hütte means hiding place for alpinists)
Squirrells, rare flowers, edelweiss, tarns, hütte-s and snow-even
in the summer... This is the Hoch Alpen, where not far from the
trail which goes to Rudolf Schoberhütte, under a tree-stump, hides
our cache. You can go to Krakauhintermühlen by car. You will arrive
to a small lake called Etrachsee. (N47° 13.459 / E13° 58.652) Park
the car at the pub "Haswaalm". From there it takes about an hour to
go up to he Hütte on foot.
Note on cache maintenance: We have a hungarian
friend who regularly spends his weekends in Murau, not far from our
cache. He will maintain our cache if needed.
