Tämä kätkö esittelee Wivi Lönnin
työtä. Valmistuessaan 1896 hän oli viides suomalainen
naisarkkitehti ja myöhemmin Suomen esimmäinen oman toimiston
perustanut naisarkkitehti. Internetistä löydät helposti tietoa Wivi
Lönnistä. Annetut koordinaatit vievät Tampereen pääpaloaseman
portille. Laske portilla olevan pohjoisemman pienen "tornin"
kivisten osien lukumäärä, laskemalla seinän osat sisäpuolelta ja
lisäämällä siihen katon osat ja katolla oleva pallo mukaan. Käytä
sitä lukuna A lopullisen kätkön koordinaattien laskennassa. N 61°
28.XXX' E 023° 55.091' jossa XXX=10*A-29. Kätkö sijaitsee
Kaukajärven kartanon alueella. Kartanon päärakennus oli Wivi Lönnin
suunnittelema. Rakennukset rappeutuivat Tampereen kaupungin
omistuksessa ja purettiin. Paikalla on jäljellä vielä osa
perustuksista. Hoitamattomana "ei kenenkään maana" alue on
roskaantunut pahoin. Sopiva pysäköintipaikka löytyy Valintatalo
kaupan takaa. Sen koordinaatit ovat N 61° 28.409' E 023° 55.073'.
Siitä on matkaa kätkölle noin 220 metriä. Lumi ei peitä kätköä,
mutta voi vaikeutta sen löytämistä. Kätkölaatikko on piilotettuna
kivimuuriin. Se näkyy ainoastaan katsottaessa alhaalta päin. Jotta
saisit sen pois kolosta joudut poistamaan yhden kiven muurista.
Yritä laittaa laatikko ja poistamasi kivi täsmälleen alkuperäiseen
paikkaansa. Muista myöskin varoa paikalla liikkuvia
jästejä.

This cache presents work of Wivi
Lönn. Graduating in 1896 she was the fifth Finnish female architect
and later the first Finnish female architect having own office. You
can easily find information of Wivi Lönn on Internet. The given
coordinates lead you in front of main fire station of Tampere.
There are two small "towers" at the entrance. Count the number of
stone blocks of northern "tower" and use it as number A when
calculating the final coordinates of the cache. Count the number of
blocks of the wall inside the tower and add the blocks of roof and
the ball on the top to the number. N 61° 28.XXX' E 023° 55.091'
where XXX = 10*A-29 The cache resides on the area of Kaukajärvi
mansion. The main building of this mansion was designed by Wivi
Lönn. The city of Tampere was poor owner for the mansion letting it
to fall in ruin. The buildings have been removed, only some
basements are still there. As a "nobody's land" the area has
littered badly. You can find a proper parking place behind
Valintatalo market. The coordinates of it are N 61° 28.409' E 023°
55.073'. The distance to the cache is about 220 meters. Snow newer
will cover this cache but it can make trickier to find it.The cache
box is hidden in a stone wall. It's visible only when you look
upwards. To get it out of the hole you have to remove one stone of
the wall. Try to return the cache box and the stone you removed
precisely on their original places.You have to take care of
geomuggles too.
