The cache is located on Tarran-y-Bwllfa above the Dare Valley Country park in Aberdare.
Free parking at the visitor centre at N51° 42.791' W003° 28.214'. The cache is a 2.4km walk up on to the impressive scarp at the head of the valley, a height gain of about 200m. Once you have gained some height there are fine views of the Brecon beacons and you may also spot buzzards, peregrine falcons and kestrels on your way to the cache.The cache is a 3ltr Tupperware style container and contains items for trade and a note book, pencils and a sharpener for logging purposes. Hope you enjoy the cache and the views.
