Garrison View is an easy cache with exceptional views overlooking the back area of a former Army base. Beautiful views of the valley, garrison area, Mount Toro and more. Easy hike to the cache. Puts you in the area for several other great caches.
This is the Group Cache from the April 17 CITO picnic of the Central Coast Geocachers. It is in an area that is very popular with mountain bikers, hikers, runners, and equestrians. There are initially a dozen Travel Bugs and other goodies inside. Be sure to check out the commemorative log from the CITO picnic that has been upgraded with a dozen photos and more. (Please do not sign that one unless you were at the picnic. More will be added to it.) Be sure to sign the cache log and let me know if anything needs attention. It is my first placed geocache, so I am learning.The container is a plastic jar (camouflaged) that once held 32 ounces of cookies. It is quite full.
