A few people have asked about which caches were hit the most and least, when I have time over the next few days I’ll do a list and post it here too.

Money raised for non wearing of name tags and swearing fines $34.80, which I will pass on to the Anti Cancer Council (Initially I said it would be SIDS, but in light of information received over the weekend, the Anti Cancer Council became a more popular choice.)

Step right up folks.
The location for the next South Australian Geocaching event has finally been chosen after a lengthy process of attempting to locate a suitable venue for the June long weekend.
The co-ordinates above will direct you to the Melrose show grounds, a quiet and grassy camping area situated at the base of picturesque Mount Remarkable. The event itself will commence mid - late morning on Saturday, with activities also planned for Sunday, a BBQ Saturday night and some evening entertainment. The format will be simalar to previous events. We have booked the use of the Hall and Woolshed for the weekend.
Camping is available on unpowered sites at $3.00 per person per night. Powered sites $6.00 per person per night.Showers are available at the cost of $1.00 each. There are only a limited number of powered sites available.
Those requiring alternate accomadation close to the venue should consider booking quickly, however at the time of posting this, accomadation was still available at....
Melrose Holiday Units (bookings through Mt Remarkable Hotel)Ph 08 8666 2119
Northstar Inn 08 8666 2110
