This is in a city park and is accessible by most anyone of any ability. Logging the cache involves lifting your arms overhead. The terrain is a bit uneven and the crow can be a challenge to put back together hence the ratings. Please bring your own pen/pencil. The cache is not meant to be hard to find. My intention is only to provide amusement.
Crow: Any of several large glossy black birds of the genus Corvus, having a characteristic raucous call, especially C. brachyrhynchos of North America.

-I love unusual cache containers. This has to be one of the most unusual cache containers in existance.
Like most crows, this one is perched in a tree somewhere in a city park. The challenge is to find the "bar", locate the "crow" and sign the cache.
I had a hard time getting consistant readings, but if you go to the above coords, you will be standing near the end of a concrete wall. The bar is located about 5' directly in front of you hanging on a branch of the maple tree. If you are not standing at the end of the concrete wall, you should be!
Once you find the bar, look around this little park and you will see the crow. It is within 60 feet of the bar and easy to spot. Use the bar to reach up and hook onto the rear end of the crow. As you pull the back-side of the crow down to eye level, you will find a film canister inside in which to log your find.
BRING YOUR OWN PENCIL/PEN.
After you log your find, let the tail end go and it will recoil itself back together.If for some reason the rear end gets stuck down and doesn't recoil, reach up with the bar and tap on the crow. Feel free to help it along if need be. Likewise, please put it back together so it looks like a crow for the next person :)
I left my cell number in the cache in case of a crow emergency.
There isn't room in the cache for anything besides your signature and date.
Please return the bar to it's hiding spot on your way out and I hope you enjoy all my hard work. This container took over 80 hours and a few hundred dollars to create by the time I was finished trying all the things that would not work! I also want to thank ok2bme for his help in placing this critter! It was no easy task.
5/9/04: Updated ratings to reflect uneven terrain and the fact that the crow is not all that easy to re-assemble at the end of a 10' stick.
4/16/06: Updated the description due to the new bar location. The new bar is a telecoping stick with a hook on the end. There are directions on the bar for your wife to read if you are having problems figuring it out.
