I spotted this Patch of Suffolk County Park lands on the map and though it had potential. Scoped it out today and was very pleased. It's a very cool spot with great views, pine barrens and evidence of an old estate. Plenty of on street parking can be found at the end of Old Broadway Ave. off of Montauk Hwy.
Cache one is a waterproof match stick container. It contains the coords for the final cache. IMPORTANT: You will need to retrieve more than just the container to get the first cache!
The final cache is a medium Lock & Lock container. It's not too far from the trail and should be an easy find. It of course has the usual swag.
BONUS FTF PRIZE: It's not in the cache but the FTF will get a brand new 18 volt cordless drill!!! FTF will of course be verifiable by the physical log. Please write the date and time you found it both in the log and online. I will get together with the winner and give them the prize. Good Luck!!!
