Jädraås iron works was built in 1857 and was in operation until the 1930's. Iron ore was transported from the mine in Vintjärn to Jädraås and the iron products produced in Järdraås were then taken to the harbour in Norrsundet. Six kilometers of the railway are still in use and are extremely well worth a visit Museisällskapet Jädraås-Tallås Järnväg and Dala-Ockelbo-Norrsundets Järnväg
The melting shop and forge are open on Sundays in connection with rail traffic. Steam trains are run on Jädraås-Tallås railway every Sunday during the period 20 june to 29 August 2004.
Jädraås hytte byggdes 1857 och var i drift till 1930 talet. Järnmalm transporterades från gruvan i Vintjärn till Jädraås och järnprodukterna fraktades vidare till hamnen i Norrsundet. Sex kilometer av spåret är fortfarande i drfit och väl värd ett besök.
Hyttan och smedjan visas söndagar sommartid i anslutning till tågtrafiken.Jädraås-Tallås järnväg kör ånglokståg alla söndagar under perioden 20 juni - 29 augusti 2004.
