Intersting area, a nice place to stop and look at the surrounding desert and some of the birds that are here. This marker caught our eye, so we stopped to read it.
It's not like most other historical markers, but still unique.

Note: The only reason the terrain rating is a 1.5 is because you have to come out on an unpaved road for about 3 miles. We had no problem in our family van, and there were lots of other "cars" out there too, but I just wanted you to be aware of that.
