Captains Go Boldly (Otago) Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

GSVNoFixedAbode: Sad to say this type of cache (based on multiple travel bugs) is no longer workable as it seems a large number of cachers do not respect the idea of moving them along. Instead they hoard, 'lose', or drop out of the game and not bother to let the TBs continue their journey.

I've had multiple copies go out, all of which have fallen prey to laziness, loss of interest, or sadly purloining. So time to archive this one, oh Captains, my Captains.

Geocache Description:

This is a mystery cache. The listed co-ordinates are within 500 metres of the cache.
Accuracy: 8 metres, Elevation: 120 metres

No infinitive has been split in the making of this cache. However, the co-ordinates have been.

Jean-Luc TB and James Tiberius TB have each got half the location information to find this cache. You will need to physically find each Travel Bug to get both South and East co-ordinates. As Jean_Luc has been assimilated, Jean_Luc-A has been released as a replacement.

As TBs can jump around unpredictably, Jean-Luc II and James Tiberius II have also been released with the same information respectively. You will need to find (Jean-Luc or Jean-Luc II) and (James Tiberius or James Tiberius II).

A note on the TBs. When you find them, please try to place them in another cache promptly, as others may be looking for them as well. They should also keep their travels within the shores of NZ.

The final location of this cache honours another captain who went boldly where no man had gone before.

The cache is a camo-painted 1.2l Snaplock container, and when placed, contained the following:
   Carrabina Keyring with compass
   Digital watch
   Bicycle puncture repair kit
   EQC Fridge magnet
