Geocache Description:

This is actually 2 caches. Itchy the mouse is deep in his hole. Scatchy the cat is up in his tree. Itchy is about the size of a 12oz can. Scratchy is twice as big as that. The hike is easy but the trail is not very well defined. THIS PUZZLE WILL BE PRETTY EASY IF YOU CAREFULLY READ THE INSTRUCTIONS.

Both these catches will be easily found after a hike of .3 miles. The above coordinates are for Itchy. Scratchy is in the big tree 230 ft. due south. The problem will be accessing the caches. Doh! Itchy's hole holds a snare for snagging Scratchy. Scratchy holds a mouse trap for snagging Itchy. You need to have both caches to get credit for the find. A wise guy could cheat, so I'm asking you to email me the names written on the inside of the lid of each cache. Trade items should be placed in Scratchy, and the log is in Itchy. Both caches have room for small trade items, but please don't put anything more than a small Travel Bug in the Itchy cache.TAKE CARE TO RETURN THE CACHES AND TOOLS EXACTLY THE WAY YOU FOUND THEM. Cache contains decent swag. There is a travel bug starter kit for the FTF. Closest parking is in the cul-de-sac at the west end of River Front Dr.just beyond the Patagonia warehouse. This is a neat little canyon. The remarkable thing about it is the complete contrast between the views north and south. As you hike in and out do frequent 180 degree turn arounds. It's pretty amazing. The cache is accessible year round, except after heavy snows or summer forest fires. In the spring you will have to cross a small creek 3 times. This is a perfect companion cache to AJ's Hole in the Wall. The Treeline Cache and Where Kermit met Piggy are close enough to make it a great afternoon of caching.
