Geocache Description:

A family-friendly daytime* multi-cache. (The first part may be hard to find if there's more than a few inches of snow on the ground. Both the first part and the final part are undergoing some construction/spring cleaning, but are still accessible and worth the trip.) *The official posted hours for Part 2 are M-F 8 - 6, but we have frequently been able to access it on the weekends.

The real Billy Moon (not his given name) attended an institute of higher learning in Cambridge, England. This cache starts at an institute of higher learning in Cambridge... Massachusetts!

Part 1: At the coordinates, look for a small red door, with a sign above it. Although this is part of the name of Billy's bear, according to the written record, it is NOT the name he literally 'lived under'. What should the name on the sign be? (Stumped? Check out CLUE #1.)

Part 2: Go to the 'lobby' of the building on campus that shares the correct name. Here you will calculate the seconds coordinates for the final cache where the degrees and minutes are: N 42 23.xxx, W 071 07.yyy

Billy's parents did not care for the name William, but that's just the name you'll be looking for. They each chose a different name for their son, resulting in Billy having 2 given names instead of one. Look on the walls of the hall for the only William without 2 given names. Take the date William graduated and divide the year by 62 to get the North seconds (xxx), and subtract 1616 from the year to get the West seconds (yyy).

Part 3: Visit the final cache site. On a good weather day, it might make a nice walk. Some visitors have included a photo of themselves at the final site, which is always fun for us and others to see. Take note of the final location, so you can come back and visit!

Note: The final cache site includes a book swap and a log book. The log book is NOT ours or even a geocache log. It belongs to the site owners. Feel free to sign it, but it is not necessary to claim this find. On the same street as the final site, look high, look low in the yard with the white picket fence to see the 'homes' of some of the other neighbors of Billy Moon's Bear. When done with this cache, decrypt the clues for some interesting links. The first three links are about Part 1 and 2 of this cache, so please don't peek before you seek!
