Jakob Skytte af Duderhof som var född i 1616-06-29 i
Stockholm var friherre till Duderhof, herre till Skytteholm och
Strömsrum gods. Strömsrum är bebyggt med bland annat
ett tvåvåningars träslott från mitten av
1700-talet med en ovanligt hög, bruten takresning. Den
första kända ägaren är Ingrid
Svante-Polksdotter (1312).Under Eriks av Pommern tid beboddes det
af väpnaren Peder Niklisson. Det ägdes sedan av
Sturesläkten, Gustaf Vasa, Johan III, dennes son hertig Johan,
hertig Karl Filip och Gustaf II Adolf. Det kom i släktens
Skyttes ägo år 1622. Den 20 aug 1677 brändes godset
ner av danskarna. Det indrogs senare vid reduktionen och var sedan
1703 pantsatt till medlemmar av ätten Bielke och därefter
till friherre K. Rappe som efter att ha gjort godset till ett
frälsesäteri också gav egendomen sin nuvarande
storlek.
Gömman består av en 0,2 l rund plastburk med
rött lock som innehåller loggbok, penna och lite
bytesvaror.

Jakob Skytte af Duderhof was borned i 1616-06-29 in Stockholm.
He was baron of Duderhof and lord of Skytteholm and Strömsrum
manors. Strömsrum consist of a two-storey castle built by wood
from the middle of 18:th century with an unusual high mansard roof.
The first known owner is Ingrid Svante-Polksdotter (1312). Under
King Eriks of Pommern the squire Peder Niklisson lived here. Later
on the manor was owned by the Sture family, King Gustaf Vasa, King
Johan III, his son duke Johan, duke Karl Filip and King Gustaf II
Adolf. Year 1622 it came into the hands of the Skytte family. The
manor was burned down by the Danish army Aug 20 1677. Later on it
was confiscated by the state government. From 1703 it was pledged
to members of the Bielke family and later on to baron K Rappe who
gave the manor the extent it has today.
The cache is a 0,2 l round plastic box with red lid, containing
a logbook, a pencil and some trading items.
