A pop-up cache near a rock, set between rolling hills
The idea for this cache came from a popular radio program, Pop Quiz, into which listeners call to participate in a pop trivia competition. Like, "this is of course the Who playing their version of Summertime Blues, but which live recording is it?"
You might think people would call from home and quite a few do, but a striking trend is that more and more call in from camps and cabins around the country, often with large groups cheering in the background.
The Lillevolds, co-owners of the Pop Rock cache, have actually participated several times and once called in from this location, now known as Pop-Odden.
The cache is interactively designed as a pop quiz in itself, containing cds with pop songs only identified by their track numbers. Visitors are invited to trade these for their own cds, preferably with quizzy content. The cache has a stacker which will hold cds, but not covers.
