It's up thar!!! Elevation is 2356 ft. Rocky everywhere ya look. Easy find, once you get there.
Start point is the same as FLYING TURKEY TROT. Go up the trail. When you reach the trailsplit--go right. Continue on, the trail splits...again. Go right (N 38.43.562, W078.52.741). Here (38.43.990, W078.52.389), you need to hang a left---uphill. If ya go straight ahead towards the gravel circle, you're on your way to the CHURCH ROCK CACHE. Anyway, go on up the hill. What you see before you is THE POINT OF NO RETURN (N38.44.172, W078.52.670). Once you pass through the circle, the test of persistance really begins. This is also known as the QUITTER'S CIRCLE!!! No where to go but UP. This cache is NOT at the top. Ever Forward...you march on. N38.44.312, W078.52.893...elevation-2356ft----Take a break, you're finally here!!! The stash is hidden between a crack in the rock you are now sitting on. Original contents include: logbook w/pen/pencil, individual packets of antibiotic, measuring tape, solar calculator, eyeglass case andhoder,red mini-caribiner, MRE heater, and a photo pack of Montezuma Castle National Monument.----GoodLuck!!!!!!
