Geocache Description:

This cache is located on the Greensand way path about 2km from Westerham.

The Greensand Way is a long distance walking route extending for 108 miles across Surrey and Kent.

The car park we used is located at 51 15.000N 000 02.588E

From the car park take the path on the south side of the clearing between two small wooden posts.

Take the first path on the right and walk down to join the Greensand Way path.

From here turn left on to the GW and follow the marker posts through the forest.

The ground was frozen when we planted the cache but when it warms up it’s going to be really muddy so wear walking boots or Wellingtons.

The cache is located a short scramble off the path (watch out for the ant’s nests – the cache is not near any of them!) Also if you have a backtrack function on your GPSR you may want to use it to find your way out again. This cache is harder during the "bracken" months and easier in winter.

This is one of my favourite walking areas – I hope you enjoy it.
