Geocache Description:

At 631 meters and quite a way from downtown, the remote Kjerkeberget is Oslo's highest point. Very few Oslo people know this, and much fewer of the city's inhabitants ever get here. You won't run into Erling Fossen at Kjerkeberget. It remains the privilege of geocachers, kjentmannsposters and other very intrepid hikers.
The cache is a spacious plastic container, secured with velcro.
Initial contents:
Gift for first finder: A mini radio from the best pink paper in town.
Reflector from same source
A can of Spam spread
A Canadian Geocoin
Micro-cards
Bernhard-cards (two generations)
A Bernhard Herre story (photocopy)
A Bernhardese fear chaser (linear style)
Three helpings of fancy instant coffee
Mosquito repellent
Info sheet describing the site
Various other info sheets
Stashnote, log, pencil and pen

This cache is dedicated to Bernhard Herre (1812-1849), the first urban dweller to explore the hills above the city and write about them with insight and beauty.
