Bryce Canyon National Park- Natural Bridge

At Bryce Canyon National Park, erosion has shaped colorful Claron limestones, sandstones, and mudstones into thousands of spires, fins, pinnacles, and mazes. Collectively called "hoodoos," these colorful and whimsical formations stand in horseshoe-shaped amphitheaters along the eastern edge of the Paunsaugunt Plateau in Southern Utah.  This interesting bridge was not formed by a stream as true natural bridges are. It is more accurately an arch, carved by the combined forces of rain and frost erosion acting from the top of the rock. While exploring Bryce Canyon be sure to stop and check this site out and take a photo of your team at the location and post it with your log.
