Previously owned by Atlantic Coastline Railroad that had been operating from this track which leads to Airport Road (now Airport-Pulling Road). The Coastline ran freight and passenger service, with a direct "through car" to New York in the mid-1950s. They closed up in the early 1970s. This rail track was abandoned back in 1970's. Currently owned by Collier County and it is being set aside for future school/park site. Locals have been using this area for fishing camping and four wheeling.
The first stage of the cache is located on the first lake. There is 40 foot mound you can stand on and see the entire lake. The cache is a micro-cache (plastic medicine container). Please leave the paper inside the container after you found it.
The second cache is located in the second lake. It is hidden in a toolbox painted in grey and black camouflage paint. All contents are tools to be used around the house. Please bring tools if you can, so that we can keep the theme going. Happy caching.
