The first webcam cache in Paris! Immortalize yourself on camera in
the City of Lights. Just a short distance from major monuments
(Centre Pompidou, Hotel de Ville, and the Louvre, to name a few)!
Hotel de Ville
You will need the help of a friend at a computer to log this
cache.
- Go to the posted coordinates.
- Locate the camera (this will be much easier if you've viewed
the webcam). Straddle the stone line through the middle of the
courtyard, hold your GPS where it can be seen, and smile!
- Phone your friend. S/he will find the webcam at:http://www.parisdanse.com/webcam.asp
- Have your friend right-click on the picture and choose the
'Save picture as...' option. The saved photo can then be uploaded
to the site. Any logs without a picture will be deleted. Make
sure to verify the camera is working before setting out to log this
cache!
You are welcome to upload other pictures of the area--there are
lots of monuments and museums within a short walk!
