Deze niet erg
moeilijke multicache is een kleine twee kilometer lang en kan
makkelijk binnen een uurtje gedaan worden. De route bevindt zich
geheel in het Nationaal Park Sallandse Heuvelrug. Hondenbezitters
opgelet: de hele route ligt in een gebied waar honden vrij rond
mogen lopen !
Een goede
parkeerplaats vind je op N52 21.003 E6 27.381, maar je kunt ook bij
WP1 je auto kwijt, mits je niet bang bent voor een paar kuilen en
mogelijk een beetje modder.
Let op : Alle
aanwijzingen hebben iets met hout te maken.

WP1 : N52 20.792 E6 27.276
Bij dit waypoint staat een bankje. Als je erop gaat zitten kijk je
uit op een speeltoestel. Hoeveel Tom Poezen vind je daar? Het
antwoord plus 1 geeft het cijfer voor A (A = ? + 1)

omschrijving...)

Hoeveel spijkers vind je in dit stukje hout? Het antwoord =

Ergens bij/in/op/aan/onder deze driestammige den vind je de bijna
complete breedtegraad van WP5. Vul hier op de ontbrekende plaats
(op de punt) het kwadraat van A (A x
A) in. Nu pal noord naar:
WP4 : N52 20.913 E6

Ergens bij/in/op/aan/onder deze tweestammige berk aan de rand van
het veldje vind je de bijna complete lengtegraad van WP5. Vul hier
op de ontbrekende plaats (op de punt) B min 1 (B - 1)
en ziedaar, de coördinaten van :
WP5
Het lijkt bijna meer op een stekelvarken dan een boom,
eigenlijk….
Ga vanaf zijn voormalige voet nog 10 x A meter in 6 x B graden om
de cache te vinden.

Revisited
This not very
difficult multicache is just over a mile long and can easily be
done within an hour. The trail is completely in the National Forest
Sallandse Heuvelrug. Dogowners attention: the entire trail is
within an area where your dogs are allowed to walk and run
free!
There is a good
parking area at N52 21.003 E6 27.381, but you can also park
directly at WP1, if you don’t mind a couple of bumps and
possibly some mud.
Attention: All
clues have something to do with wood.
WP1 : N52 20.792 E6 27.276
At this waypoint you find a wooden bench. The seat of the bench
consists of how many planks? The answer = A.
WP2 : N52 20.824
E6 27.466
How many nails do you count in this small piece of wood? The answer
= B.
WP3 : N52 20.878
E6 27.527
Somewhere at/in/on/near/under this threetrunked pine you’ll
find the almost complete latitude of WP5. Now go straight north
to
WP4 : N52 20.913
E6 27.527
Somewhere at/in/on/near/under this twotrunked birch on the edge of
a small field you’ll find the almost complete longitude of
WP5.
Now enter A square
(A times A) into the empty place in the N-coördinate, and B minus 1
(B-1) into the empty place in the E-coördinate and behold: the
coördinates of :
WP5
It almost looks more like a porcupine than a tree, actually…
Place yourself at it's former foot.
Now you can find the treasure at 10 x A meters in 6 x B degrees
direction...
