A short hike in the Mainland Common along a trail built by the local trails group. Just the last few metres are off-trail. Have fun!!
Best spot to park would be in the parking lot next to the ball field at the top of Westridge Dr.
We placed this cache (our first!) in a little-used, relatively unknown, new park in the HRM. Some areas were heavily impacted by Juan; other areas had relatively little damage.
The original cache location seemed to have become a hang-out for local kids and the cache was muggled several times. So, we decided to relocate the cache to a spot just off the main trail.
It should qualify as 'Park Friendly'.
