This is a circular walk which is about 2.5km long, it is half in the marshes and heathland (on dry paths) and half in the woods. There is lots of plant and wildlife to see including fallow deer – if you’re lucky! There are 6 points to find, two found by hunting out micro caches (a clear plastic tube and a film canister), and the others by solving questions. The main geocache is in a camouflaged screw top container.
The given location is a good free place to park, if this is full there is paid parking further along the road. From here head to point one at N52:49.696 / E000:28.440 and locate the first micro cache. This cache contains the location for the second point.
Once you have reached the second destination there are two small horizontal wooden objects, how many vertical posts are on one of these?. This value is A.

Point three is located at N52:49.BB5 / E000:28.A4B
At point three look at the square shape on the floor, how many wooden planks make up this structure? This number is C.
D = C + 3 and E = C - 3
Point four is located at N52:49.7DE / E000:27.9DE
At this point there is an object with a corner, it has F diagonal supports.
G = F - 2
Point five is located at N52:49.65G / E000:28.FGG
This point is slightly off the path and into the woods. It is easiest to follow the main path until you are within 50 meters of the point then cut in to find it. Once you have reached point five search out the micro cache, this contains the location of the main geocache. From here head back to the main path you were just on and continue towards the final coordinates.
The main geocache is located at a point a short way off the main path, again continue along the main path until you are about level with it then cut in throught the woods to search for it. To get back to your car you should retrace your tracks back to the main path you were just on and then carry on towards to the start.
