SWAG Cade: This cache has gone walkabouts - fitting timing considering I've just moved out of the neighbourhood.

Geocache Description:

A combination multicache/virtual cache

I want you to help me get to know my neighborhood. It’s nothing special – just your average Sydney suburban area with your usual assortment of shops, stations, parks etc.

BUT I suspect that my neighborhood has a lot more to offer – if only I took the time to take a stroll around and notice all the little things.

Guess what? That’s what I want YOU to do.

Find 2 sets of numerical references at WP1. Use them to determine the location of WP2, as follows:

  • Ignore all degree and decimal points.
  • Add the vertical to 3355166
  • Add the last 4 characters of the horizontal to 15098733
  • Insert degree/decimal points in their usual
  • places.

At WP2 you will find a cache containing a Team SWAG baseball cap. Use STEALTH to take the cap and temporarily re-hide the cache.

(If you find the cache container empty, that means someone else has beaten you to it, but wait around – it shouldn’t be long before the cap is returned).

Take a stroll around ‘my neighborhood’. Find something of interest; a building, a landmark, a tree, even a piece of graffiti and take a picture of it! The picture must also include the SWAG baseball cap and yourself (optional but encouraged).

Return the cap to the cache, log your visit in the logbook provided as well as on this website and upload your photo.

Please mention in your log what it was that you took a picture of, and why you found it interesting.

Please note: Other members of Team SWAG must email me the exact location of WP2 as well as uploading their photo, to confirm that they also completed the cache correctly.

That’s it. Have FUN!
