I would be grateful if you visit my web page by clicking on http://geocaching.hu/users.geo?id=13901 link, to enrich my collection of flags. THANK YOU!

The cache was firstly placed in October 2003 by Veresbandi and adopted by me on 12th of February 2008. Within three days I renewed it and hid to a safer place some few meters away. There are other two caches nearby (Fairy rock - GC19NM7 and Top of the Hills - GC86E9) with very good panorama to the city, but this place has the advantage of being less frequently visited by tourists.

Approaching the cache: Proposed starting point is the terminal of the bus No.90A at Normafa or -which is practically the same- the "Konkoly Thege str." station of the bus No.90. Behind the parking place, start your way on the broad, trodden walkway towards János-hill, then turn right at the crossing of the yellow tourist sign. From here on, you can choose several different ways to the cache. Reaching the small white chapel, you can short-cut the way through the meadow, but you can choose a light slope, too. Anyway, the last stage of the straight-ahead approach is a quite steep slope, not recommended in wet weather. Not dangerous, but you will surely end up on your butt.

Alternative approaches: 1. You can also start from the Children's Railway's (Gyermekvasút) station named "Szépjuhászné" and from there go then by bike on Jánoshegyi road.

2. Those who would like to find also the above mentioned nearby caches, another approach is recommended. At the time, when this cache was not mine yet, I started the walk from the bottom terminal of the chair-lift operating between Zugliget and János-hill. First, I was looking for the cache of Fairy rock and then I came here. After that I went up to the János-hill (Top of the Hills) from where I got back to the city by the chair-lift. To tell the truth, this wasn't the ideal choice, but otherwise I should have waited for the chair-lift for too long and I was so eager to go : ) However, it's more logical to go up with the chair-lift firstly to the János-hill for GC86E9 and then walk down for the other two caches.

Have a nice cache hunt!
