At the time it was initiated, this cache was the only Canadian webcam cache East of Ontario and therefore something a little different for geocachers in this part of the world. (Note that there are now other webcam caches that were established before they were banned.) The idea is to place yourself in the field of view of the camera and have a friend standing by on a computer connected to the internet save the picture (with you in it). You then post this picture on the cache page when you log the find to prove that you were there.
There are a few stipulations required for the picture to prove that it was you and not just some random unknown individual.
1) You must face the camera
2) You must be seen to be holding a GPS or a compass
3) You must be wearing or holding something red.
4) If it happens to be sunny do not stand in the shadows.
This cache is about as easy as they come; therefore logs not complying with the above stipulations will be deleted.

The camera site seems stable (and it should be given where it is housed) but check before you venture off "into the wilds".
