At the north end of the beautiful, mountain lake Tyin. 1090 meter above sea-level.
The view from the cache, towards the west (Breidkvamsnosi, Koldedalstinden, Hjelledalstinden)
The cache is hidden close to the memorial column for Ferdinand Schjelderup (1886-1955), a former supreme court judge and a renowned pioneer mountaineer / climber and high mountain skier.
Schjelderup was one of the founders of the Norwegian Alpine Club (Norsk Tindeklub) in 1908.
The road along the east side of Tyin is one of the main ''entrances'' to the Jotunheimen mountain range.
