Geocache Description:

I placed this cache in celebration of my 2nd anniversary geocaching and my 1000th find. My first find was at Garret Mountain and my first hide was in Rifle Camp Park. Frank D. Zaccaria Park, in which Henderson Pond is located, is half-way between the two, so I decided to place a cache here. In addition to Henderson Pond, the park features a children's playground, a soccer field, and a couple of small picnic pavilions. Sorry; no pets are allowed in the park.

Park in the lot just off of Rifle Camp Road and hike in. During the warmer months, a large geyser of water aerates the pond. Follow the trail around the pond to the cache; easy as pie!

The cache is completely hidden from view in a 'natural manner,' but I left a clue at the location that should indicate to the observant cacher exactly where to look. The cache contains small items appropriate for any age group.

Please rehide the cache exactly as you found it (or better) and remove any traces of your search.

Have fun!
