Geocache Description:

Trail is short but rough with protruding roots. Any type of shoe
with support and traction will do.

The trailhead is off Rt.3 East of Seal Harbor on the Cooksey Rd.
Coords for the parking area are N44 18.159 W068 13.274. There is a small parking area, room for about 4 vehicles, which leads to the rocky beach, about .2 miles away, that is in the National Park. The cache itself is located outside the National Park. Improvements to the trail, fall of 2004, have made the trail much easier to negotiate. After arriving at the beach, walk along the Hunters Cliff trail SWesterly approximately 300yds. There used to be a sign marking the trail but I didn't see it. Follow your gpsr. Cache is an ammo can. Please leave cache concealed IN THE MANNER you found it. After visiting this cache on June 11, 2016, I am challenging cachers to trade-up here. Take something you WOULDN'T want in your cache and leave something you WOULD. There seems to be a trend to do otherwise. At some point, hopefully you can make an even trade. It hasn't worked yet but I keep hoping! Thanks!! This doesn't include tbs, of course...but please log them as soon as possible. Thanks again. After visiting the cache on October 24, 2005, I noticed the Cliff Trail has become more challenging due to erosion and tree-fall caused by recent coastal storms. Parts are very close to the cliff edge and could be dangerous for small children. Please USE CAUTION!
