Geocache Description:

This is a short, easy walk on gravel.

This ammo box cache is one of a string of L&C caches from the southern to the northern borders of Nebraska and Iowa along the Missouri River. This cache was placed with permission of the land owner and local help on the cache placement and lid contents. Be sure to read the lid to learn of the connection to Lewis and Clark's expedition in this area.
If the gate is closed, it is all right to park there and walk to the spot.
Wild flowers abound in the area, and the view is spectacular from the bluff. If you want an even better view, are up for the climb, and ready for a possible slide down; go to the top of the knob hill. There is a clear path.
Hamburg has some spectacular houses and buildings. The people are friendly. The town has charm with the flag pole in the center of the intersection.

Update 11-10-2012:  Original cache owner, The Three Amigos, can no longer care for the cache.  Ownership was transferred to GeoJudt to keep it going for years to come.
