Geocache Description:

The City of Manchester's first cache in a quiet area where the residents won't hinder your search!

Get away from the hustle and bustle of life in the fast lane of England's second city (sorry Birmingham!) and spend a few minutes near Blackley Forest.
The Forest is actually just a small wood but Heaton Park is very close by for those who might want to spend an afternoon in these parts. You can drive to within yards of the cache but take notice of the gate closing times displayed on the sign at the entrance!

Update 29/7/09 Cache moved following old hide be damaged. Now accessible from the lower access road.
