Today there is nine National Parks in Hungary. The Aggteleki National Park is the northest of all. The cave here is goes through the border and continues under our neighbour.
The caves here are under the protection of UNESCO, so Baradla is the part of the World Heritage of UNESCO.

Theese caves were known by the prehistoric man too, who lived in theese caves. The oldest bones what were found here are 35 000 years old.

You can visit the cave from several places, and in several routes. There is a short trip, a middle one, and a long journey in the cave.
All of them are very beautiful.

The flora and fauna is quite big in theese caves! Tere are more than 500 species lives in these caves. And from the 28 european bat species, you can find here 21!

Opening hours:
1st of april to 30th of september
8-18 h. The last trip starts at 17.00

This is the biggest, and nicest cave in Hungary, so this is, why I put a cache here. The cache is not in the cave but over it. From that place there is a nice sight to the National Park. The cache is a 20x15x5 cm white-blue box. You will find it easily.

Have a nice visit in the cave!
