Geocache Description:

Deze cache voert je in 5 km. langs een aantal van de vele kunstwerken die in de loop der tijd zijn neergezet om de Alkmaarse wijk "De Mare" en het naastgelegen park "De Rekerhout" op te fleuren.

This cache takes you on a 5 km. tour around some of the many pieces of art placed to brighten up a district of Alkmaar called "De Mare" and the adjacent park called "De Rekerhout".

De route is erg kinderwagenvriendelijk en de wat oudere kinderen kunnen zich onderweg uitleven in een aantal speeltuintjes.

Er is geen noodzaak om van de verharde paden af te gaan, maar er zijn een aantal sluiproutes. Sommige verkorten de wandeling, andere verlengen de tocht aanzienlijk.

The trip is very stroller friendly and there are a number of playgrounds on the way to be enjoyed by the older kids.
