Geocache Description:

Hidden on the southwest corner of the island.

This cache is on the southeast corner of the island. There are tons of "caves in the making" that we enjoyed exploring. The area is known as grapefields and is also known for its rock climbing. There were also a number of Kite Surfers sailing in the somewhat protected cove. At one point there were an amazing five sailors flying over the waves.

Don't forget to take a look at the prison with the ocean view down the beach a bit... it really is a spectacular location...we hope you enjoy it.

We were also lucky enough to see pair of rare Aruban Burrowing Owls about 300 feet to the southwest of the cache.

The cache itself is a reasonable large container and is easily accessible once found. Please be careful to re-hide the cache. I was able to get a lock on twelve satellites while placing the cache so the coordinates should be pretty accurate.

If you visit Aruba then we hope you get a chance to visit this part of the island. It was great to get out and explore off the beaten path.
