Island Welcome... Westward Ho Traditional Geocache

This cache is temporarily unavailable.

The Seanachai: It looks like your cache has been under the weather for some time. As a courtesy to your fellow cachers, I would ask you to check on this cache as soon as you reasonably can and either confirm that it is in good shape, replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter.

I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in about 30 days to be sure that the maintenance has been done and to see whether further action needs to be taken. Failure to respond could result in archival of the listing. Please note that geocaches archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance are not eligible for unarchival.
In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can re-enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name. Thank you.

Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Great State of Tennessee... stop & refresh and consider yourself welcomed! This is a very popular location with lots of people, so please be discreet when you are cache hunting!

Here’s a great place to pull off the highway and take a rest, have a picnic, wet your whistle, water your lily, stretch your legs, walk the dog, feed the squirrels, go for a little hike, do a little bird watching, find a cache or two, or just sit and watch the big ol’ Tennessee River roll by. Covered pavillions, picnic tables, snack & drink machines, restrooms, water fountains, highway maps and area attraction brochures... what more could a traveler ask for?!

If you find a small Rubbermaid container with 'official geocache' label, you’ve probably found the cache! The original contents of this cache are: Log Book & pen, Tennessee 3-Star pin, UPS keyminder & notepad holder, multi-ring keyring set with red LED, 500 piece coral reef puzzle, bottle of Puzzle Saver glue, plastic Patriotic Jet kit plane, and official geocaching.com patch.

This cache is one of the fraternal triplet caches here on the Island. You might find a couple of the caches within hiking distance, but to log all three will take a drive of several miles, or a return trip through this part of the Volunteer State! The Island Welcome caches are placed with a nod to Ya All Come Back Now, Ya Hear! (GCCEF2) by Carolina Moon... another nifty place to sit a spell and take the load off on your travels through these parts.

Enjoy your visit... and Happy Caching!
